Training To You I had an excellent instructor. I thought I knew a lot about using Excel, but he was able to show us all how much we really don't know about the program and all the wonderful things it can do. I appreciated that he was able to put things in simple terms, readily answered questions, and gave very helpful examples. I am looking forward to taking Excel levels 2 and 3 with Training to You and learning even more! We appreciate Training to You providing the training on site at our office. This was an excellent training for us to train the majority of our team.

The class was very thorough and additional assistance was provided for those needing a little extra help. The Instructor was an expert on his knowledge of the software. The classroom provided an excellent learning environment.

I took the same class over two years ago, and I really needed help with the calculations the most in Excel. I expressed my concern to the instructor within 5 minutes of the class start, and first break, he asked front desk about moving me. Others in the class felt they would also benefit from more training in that area, regarding the basic Excel level, and I would have missed too much of Part II so the instructor made certain he spent time in the book on those lessons related directly to basic Algebra and the calculations related to Excel, and how to build those calculations.

Much better class because of that help, and I remembered a lot from previous class, and work with those applications, so the instructor was able to get more in-depth and related to the new 2016 (back when I first took it over 2 years ago, it was 2013). The new 2016 Find tool was extremely helpful too, and the instructor helped with that.

Training to You is an excellent training facility. I learned more in the first five minutes than I have in the years struggling and trying to learn Excel on my own. I will be taking another Excel course through them.

I took two SQL classes with Training To You. The fundamentals and the advanced. I really liked the way that the classes were structured and the fact that for every notion, we went trough practice to make sure that we understand. The book is great and there is an opportunity to practice through their online site for some time. I will recommend Training To You 100%.

Not a school fit for anyone who wants or needs hands on experience. The faculty has their hands tied. They may want to help you but, are powerless to do so. In 2 of my 3 classes, everyone dropped out but myself. I was the last one left in class. The information is pushed on to you too fast. Not enough time to prep for cert exams then, you are shoved into the next phase.

I went to the program director and department manager and got nothing but promises. Broken promises. So, I went to my vocational rehab rep and explained all the issues I had with the school and he tells me that he never recommends this school. I wish I had know then what I know now. I would have held out for another school. TTY doesn't care about you once you have paid them.

If you are looking for IT training, keep searching. I have had a few interviews and was informed that what I was taught at TTY wasn't enough to get me a job at a help desk.which, I already have had that job. I didn't need TTY. Waste of time, money and effort. Please, PLEASE do not go to this school. They only care about the corporate training they host.

Per your reply, I would have had to wait weeks to get ready for certification. When there were 4 students to begin with and then I was the lone student, I should have been ready to cert right after. I was not prepared and was left behind by the school. Now, from R O at von8th, I am being talked about as a problem? The problem is from within. I should have never gone to this school. I see now from your compatriots that you are unprofessional and immature in your dealings. I will always sway people away from your school. Now, it is personal.

TTY Career College helps advance careers. They are a certification preparation school that helps students earn IT certifications or a credential in Project Management (PMP). They help veterans transition into civilian jobs and work with people to help them enter or advance themselves in the IT workforce.

TTY promises top education and a high success rate in certifications plus hands on learning. This school is so disorganized, for two classes they didn't even have the students enrolled so we had no access to our syllabus, labs, quizzes, etc. Their check-in system on the computer works half the time and the time is always incorrect. They don't have tools or supplies for hands on learning to actually see the hardware.

This is a school for IT and they don't even have their own systems working properly. They are constantly changing rules and requirements, so every day may be differnt and the classroom may be differnt each day. They now have no quiet place to study which was a selling point when I walked through the school, with students coming and going when they wanted to study on their own in the classrooms.

They are more concerned with the business to business side than the IT classes for students. Check other options, I've since heard of others that have a good success rate. Once they receive your funds, they don't care if you pass or not. This is all related to the management, admissions, etc. NOT the instructors. I'm fact there were a few instructors that left while I was there. I am so disappointed! Regret spending my grant money here.

I recently took the PMP Project Management course here at TTY. It was an awesome experience. I especially learned a great deal of knowledge from the instructors here, including Ron Askew and Angela Tate. They stuck with me all the way up until my completion date. I gained a vast knowledge of the project management process and methodologies while studying here. I would recommend this course to anyone who is willing to do the work. Thanks again.

I took the PMP class with this school using GI Bill. I felt like I only benefited slightly by taking course versus just reading text myself. Unfortunately most veterans go here to use GI Bill for housing allowance payment. Most don't even take the certification test after class and just enroll in another program here. That isn't the schools fault just an annoyance on abuse of Veterans.

During my time here, a 3 month course, we went through 3 instructors. All naturally having different approaches and opinions. The weekly test was just the end of chapter test. You can easily pass this class because all questions come from the book and you can just take the tests before class so you are familiar with answers. Final exam, also from the book.

In the end only the student can dedicate themselves to have confidence to take PMI's certification exam. The school can make you think you are ready but the test is a real wake up call. Be sure to study multiple sources and take every practice exam you can find online for free. Take this class of you don't have the discipline to study on your own. I passed PMP exam on first try but didn't feel like the school prepared me enough.

I absolutely love my faculty and staff, and attending the PMP Fast Track course here has opened a lot of doors for me in my pursuit of continuing education as well as for other resources. Although this is a for-profit business, the people who work there seem to genuinely care, and I would recommend their programs to anybody who is interested in bettering their situation. They also make it very easy to coordinate GI Bill benefits.

I have to say, for an institution saying that they help veterans, I would stay away from this place like the plague. I took their Microsoft Office Professional Course in July 2012, worse mistake of my life. Apparently since there is no accountability for hours or payments. I to this day, September 2014 am still fighting the VA over supposed over payments and tuition and fees.

Apparently between July 2012 and October 2012 the VA over paid me $2,054.67 in tuition and fees, which I never saw a dime of because it went directly to the school. AND, now apparently I was overpaid $1,978.67 for the same period for housing, books and supplies. So lets recap, in total, VA claims I was paid an ADDITIONAL $4,033.34 for the period between July 2012 and October 2012.

And of course, I can't get a straight answer from anyone at TTY, call for weeks and e-mail and no reply. I was told mid August 2014 that the last over charge of $1,978.67 would be taken care of and paid for. Nothing. I call and e-mail for weeks and nothing and finally I get ahold of someone today, and was told, there was a problem. Wonder why I was contacted for the last 4 weeks about this "problem" until I call and e-mail them last week and this week, after getting another letter from the VA saying they've already begun garnishing my benefits from another school I'm currently attending.

Two god damn years, and I'm still dealing with this issue. Stay away from this place period, especially if you're a veteran. It's great when the rep today says, they were never paid at all for the MS course I took yet I already paid $2,054.67 in tuition and fees for a course they were never paid for. Well, hell I guess that payment check fell into the same box as those dam grid squares.

I attended a week long Salesforce training session at this location. Staff was nice. Class was small, which was choice. The instructor was independent, contracted through Salesforce. The first two days of class, we had a bucket of juices offered in the back of the class room. I wondered why there was no water included and why the bucket disappeared after day two.

There were always bagels and fruit offered in reception but I was never offered any and didn't know if they were available to us. The receptionist brought in cookies, every day at 2pm. The instructor eventually told us that we could get water and soda out of the cooler in the hallway. That was a saving grace since we were stuck in this dark room for intense training all day long. Location is good and they have plenty of parking. I attended in the peak of summer heat in Arizona and was cool and comfy all day.

I'd have to say TTY has been a good experience. The instructors have been super helpful. They do what they can to motivate you to keep coming to class and keep going. I read the previous review, and I disagree. I came here on my own free will and was not pressured to start. I passed my A+ and Network+ with their help and have been working on my CCNA.

A lot of people here have told me this place has helped them too. I remember when I first showed up and got right to work. They provided me all the tools that I needed to get moving. If you want to speak to someone there, ask to speak to Hiro (instructor) or Gabe (instructor), they both have real life experience in the IT industry. Both can walk you through understanding anything you need.
