The Computer Resource Center offers training and support for professionals and individuals who need to learn popular computer software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, and other programs. The CRC is located at 1525 East 53rd Street, suite 930, in the neighborhood of Hyde Park (in the Hyde Park Bank Building, just off Lake Shore Drive).

Services
Fees are payable with check, cash, or credit card. Credit card payments are accepted through PayPal (you do not need a PayPal account), or via an e-invoice payable online through Square or Bill.com. Fees for individuals should be paid at the completion of each session. Please note that we do not repair, install, or upgrade equipment, nor do we teach specific equipment (phones, tablets, or other devices); we teach software apps.
Afterwards, the Dean wrote the evaluations were great and the students 'loved' George, who answered questions during lunch, stayed after and was very patient. Ability gauged prior to class and instruction designed to provide the most effective instruction. Perhaps some screen shares and less text to explain points in handouts, but overall, it was excellent information. I learned a lot.
George Rumsey has provided training to the University of Chicago Library Systems since 1983, with classes in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and Horizon. Classes and registrations are limited to library personnel. Details are available at lib.uchicago.edu. Classes for University of Chicago Law School students are arranged through the Dean's Office.

Took my laptop in today to get fixed and Tyler REALLY REALLY helped me out! He fixed it in like 5 mins and since it was such an easy fix he helped me out a whole lot with the price. Took my laptop by the shop in Tillmans Corner today and in less than 30 minutes the technician had identified the problem. This computer had sat in a local electronic fixit shop four weeks with no progress so i pulled it out and tried Computer Resource. They have the part ordered the same day and the repair is expected to be complete in less than a week. Recommend.

Took my laptop in that was no longer booting, and within a day they figured out what was wrong and what it was going to take to fix it. Decided to update the OS to Windows 10 while we were doing this work. Extremely pleased with the service and the price. I have used them in the past and I will use them again in the future.

These people are great. Fair and Definately honest. They look out for the customer best interest and value. I took my lap top in to see what was wrong. Could it be economily be repaired or do I need a new one. Mother board was shot. I didn't want to loose all my files. Could they retrieve the memory? They took another computer put my hard drive in it and did all the stuff they have to do.
In every respect the computer is a much better computer then my old one. I didn't loose any thing and this one is faster and has more memory. The price was far less then what I could have bought a new one for. Oh yes they stayed open long after hours to serve me and make sure I had what I needed. I'm in the customer service business and these people are the prime example of 5 Star customer service. Listening and responding to the customers needs.
