First and foremost, Learn iT! is located in a convenient part of the city (33 New Montgomery Street) and has a great view out of many of the classroom windows. Their team is very helpful and I find my training experiences well organized with great content. They also offer WiFi, which is nice. I really enjoy going to training here. The first training I took at Learn iT! was Critical Thinking with Sheila.

She was animated and kept my attention throughout the day, which can be hard to do! I appreciated the application/activities during the training, along with getting to know some of the other students attending (this was a public course). I'm happy they provide a workbook for each of the Professional Development classes, as I use them for taking notes and reference them often after the trainings.

I take time to process information, so this is a great takeaway for me. Tip: they serve warm cookies at 2 PM each day and offer complimentary coffee and tea (this is available throughout the day). The cookies smell amazing in and it is a nice treat.

I took the Excel Power User course with Faz and highly recommend it! I have a decent baseline in excel and this course helped me learn useful tips and tricks for data cleaning/data analysis. Faz is extremely knowledgeable and an excellent teacher. He has a programming background and mixes in interesting technical facts with his explanations - but, somehow manages to keep everything simple!

Came here to take an exam. Been here twice in a month as I couldn't clear the test in first go. The facility is clean and have fresh coffee outside for the students. They gave me a pencil and a paper to scribble my thoughts during my exam. The guy on front was friendly and accompanied me to the exam area, helped me with setting up system and walked me through the process as it was timed exam.

Clean, bright, welcoming, and comfortable reception. Receptionist was very friendly. Saltwater fish tank was a classy touch. There are snack machines, and maybe a drink machine. Best testing facility I have used!

Great Facility! I took an Argus course here and the teacher was fantastic. The facilities were clean, always had fresh coffee, and even brought us cookies and pizza on the days! Easy to find and would definitely come back!

Came here to take an exam. The guys at front desk are nice! but the exam room was crammed and noisy! People coming and going every ten seconds. The door is loud. Also, parking is rough. Prepare to pay for garage parking. Plan to be in there a good half hour before your appointment.

Took an excel class for work here and learned ALOT! I feel so much more comfortable with Excel and overall the class went by relatively quick. Take notes because it's a lot to remember. Highly recommend!

Excellent training on Google Mail! I learned a lot of useful information that was right in front of my eyes. I would definitely recommend Learn IT for any type of training you may need.

I recently attended the Fundamental Skills for New Managers class with Jeanette. She was very knowledgeable on the skills presented and provided a number of references specific to each trainee's situation. My favorite skills Jeanette taught focused on giving and receiving feedback and running productive meetings. I have started implementing these skills and have immediately experienced positive results. If you are looking to become a better manager this class is a must!

I recently took the InDesign class as well as the Illustrator class. I will definitely be returning for the Photoshop class as well. I was really satisfied with the caliber of instructors, and the efficiency and organization of the classes. Each instructor, Carlos and David had a unique and effective teaching style, and it was clear that they were knowledgeable and passionate about the creative tools, and had dialed in how to teach the material to people of all different experience levels.

The class sizes were small, and there was a good balance of instruction and hands on learning. Even though there were long days, they were never boring, as both Teachers had good, offbeat senses of humor. There was also plenty of breaks and coffee to keep us alert and engaged. I had been wanting to take a few classes to learn / revisit these programs in the Adobe Creative suite for some time but didn't want to deal with the beaurocracy, time and expense, respectively that come with going back to City College or Berkeley / SF State extension classes. I'm glad I found LearnIT!, because in each intensive class, in just a few days I learned far more then I had years ago, taking weeks of intro design classes back in University.

After these course I've been able to move forward with creative projects with a whole new set of skills, and it is with pleasure rather then doing things the long and dirty, figure it out as I go, way. If you are wanting to learn a skill or program I highly recommend exploring LearniT! to anyone. There was quite a range of ages and backgrounds in the classes and everyone is just there to learn and not waste time. The administration was also really helpful, quick to answer any questions, and signing up/ scheduling was a breeze.

I took the Executive Presence class with Conrad Moore to invoke my inner executive. Convenient location with a professional and inviting staff - it was exactly what I needed. I've signed up for more business development classes since then and highly recommend LearniT! for your professional growth too! Oh, and they have coffee and cookies!

I participated in The Business writing course about a month ago. I loved it. I was able to receive a completion certificate at the end of the course which was very rewarding.

Chelsea was great! I would like to say that I am computer illiterate but the instructor Chelsea made learning Excel 2010 extremely easy. I loved how due to the fact that I had a family emergency, I was given an option to take the last day of class either another day or live online. Their flexibility is much appreciated.

Carlos is the best Photoshop instructor I've ever had! I've had to take 3 Photoshop classes in the past, and I've learned the most I ever had with Carlos. He makes the material every easy to understand and makes sure that no one in the class is left behind.

Let me start by saying LearnIT is awesome, in fact, they are freaking awesome! And, let me tell you why. Over the years, I took quite a few classes from professional development to technical development courses at LearnIT. First and foremost, all the instructors are super nice, patient, knowledgeable and enthusiastic about classes they teach! One instructor in particular, David Lieberman whom I took several classes from Photoshop, SEO to Business Writing, is a super rock star! David is just amazing.

His teaching method works miracles against our shortened attention span from our modern day technologies. He's a total package with his thoughtful teaching method, passion, full of interesting stories and attentiveness. Keeping what could be boring subject interesting to students requires lots of preparation and talent. Also, during several breaks, (since I took all day courses, there were several including the lunch break) when students were working to review what they have just learned, instructors willingly stayed in the room and help the students whenever they need without making students feel weird or bad. AWESOME INSTRUCTORS! check.

I have always been impressed with how all the classes were so well structured, well-prepared and organized. Instructors give us handouts which contains agenda and high level information where you can take note if you want. All the visual aid during classes are very helpful as I am a visual learner. LearnIT also offers software manual archives for you to download.

Study guides! Check. Last but not least for me is the cleanliness of all classrooms, bathroom, break space. I am not a neat freak, but it really helps and makes me feel good to be there. And freshly baked cookies. YES! I highly recommend LearnIT for anyone who's looking to improve professional skills from MS office, Creative Suite to Dealing with Difficult people.

I wanted to find a place close to home that would be able to teach me Excel 2010. I googled around and came across learnit! Something that separated Learnit! from other Excel 2010 training facilities was that I was given the option to take parts of the class rather than having to be locked in for the full 3 consecutive days. Chelsea taught our public course and was very friendly.

I can't recommend this place highly enough. After many referrals, I decided to go to Learn It for InDesign training. The registration was simple, the program fee was reasonable and I, as a technology illiterate person, was able to learn beginner through to intermediate in only three short days. The instructor was knowledgeable and personable, and the class size was small enough (8) that I was able to get help with some of the work projects that weren't even a part of the syllabus. If you are needing help with any sort of hard or soft skill - Learn iT! is the place to go!

In the past year I've taken several classes at Learn iT!, most recently "How to Identify and Build High Potential Performers" with the absolutely wonderful Jennifer Albrecht. The caliber of the instructors, I've interacted with in my experiences with this company has been nothing short of incredible time after time. I'd be remiss not to mention my favorite part, the mid-day cookies!

As somebody who has conducted many long meetings in the past, I've learned just as much about how to structure full-day sessions in my own work as I have from the content of the classes! The cookies are a great chance to catch a breath and refresh!

Took training with them through work. Instructors were both knowledgeable and fun, and the second hummed 'pomp and circumstances' while handing the 5 of us our certificates. Also - warm cookies every afternoon.

LearnIT is awesome! I'm a total technophobe. I've always had a hate-hate relationship with computers. They are sometimes a necessary evil, but I've gotten by with just barely being able to do what I *have* to do on them(except the internet, of course). I recently found that it would probably behoove me to have some basic skills in Excel, Word & Powerpoint because I'm tired of people looking at me like a freak when I tell them I don't know how to use any of them.

At all.& also, I'm looking for a "real" J. O. B. (I've been a self-employed landscape designer for 20 years- got by without it) So far, I've taken the first two modules of Excel- 8 hours total, all in the same day. Cara, the instructor, was fantastic! - I didn't fall asleep - I didn't get bored - I wasn't the lamest person in the class - I LIKED it and - At the end of the day, I wished I had signed up for the second day - Most importantly, I LearnedIt! Cara kept her energy, pace, voice projection and patience even and up throughout the whole 8 hour day- even though she was feeling a bit under the weather.

She explained how she loved Excel and I think that really helped make her an engaging instructor. Registering for the classes (I plan on taking two modules of PPT and Word, as well) was unbelievably easy and the location (just outside Montgomery St. BART) is very convenient. During our lunch break I went down and found good food nearby and then went for a walk so I wouldn't go into a food coma the second half of the day. :) All in all, it couldn't have gone better. Not only did it not scare this (former?) technophobe off, I can't wait to learn more!

I'm a facilitator teaching an IT related class. The wireless internet works great, the projector is easy to use, every PC has dual monitors. Breakfast was served in our room with pastries and orange juice. Coffee is located in the main room. The building has security and you must sign in at the lobby and on the 3rd floor. Minus the one star for no ease of printing for instructors.

In my first review, I was reviewing an Excel course I took remotely (which I still don't recommend. I think it's better to go there to the actual class). However, since then, I've taken a 1 day business writing course on the campus of Learn iT, and it was a really good experience. The one day class was from 9 to 5, with an hour lunch break.

The teacher was engaging and well prepared. I expected to walk into a room, where everyone would half listen and surf the web the whole day. However, there were no computers! Everyone was actively participating the whole day in discussions and interactions. Even after lunch, when everyone is at their sleepiest, our teacher still kept us going strong.

The day went by so fast, and the class helped me feel more comfortable with my email writing. I'm glad that other people in the class had the same difficulties that I had in my writing. Thanks for giving me another chance to try Learnit!

For some reason my company really likes to hire Learn It to teach us PC basics (Acrobat, MS Office Suite etc.). Yeah, they're pretty cheap compared to Academy X & Roundpeg but cheap doesn't equal good. I've taken their Acrobat, Excel and Word classes (I do work for a living but I like to take a couple of days out to veg out in front of a PC!). I've also attended an HTML (that was a joke) class.

All Learn It classes feel like they are dumbed down, water downed versions of a dummies book. You get a paltry 2 page document as your training materials. I'm not the smartest PC applications person but I do like to learn more than remedial Word/Excel yada yada. I actually fell asleep against my monitor in the recent Word class! Very uninspiring classes. You get more bang for your buck by buying and reading a dummies book or one of those "software bible" books.
