Northwest Computer Learning Northwest Computer Learning Center (NWCLC) is a locally woman-owned company and has been a leader in hands-on personal computer training classes since 1983. In that time, NWCLC has trained thousands of professionals across a wide spectrum of computer applications. Our hands-on classes are small, always with one student per computer and an instructor in the room.

Our main facility is located in Salem, Oregon, but we train throughout the Northwest. NWCLC is certified by the State of Oregon as a Women Business Enterprise (WBE) and Emerging Small Business (ESB).

Northwest Computer Learning Center offers classes in many versions of each software title. Please see our Course Schedule or Brochure for more details. You many also contact NWCLC by phone or email if you are unsure as to whether your software version is supported. Northwest Computer Learning Center recommends that students place themselves in classes appropriate for their ability levels to maximize their learning potential. All class titles are followed by a rating system which is designed to help our students place themselves in the proper classes.

Learn keyboard and mouse techniques in Excel, how to navigate the Ribbon tabs and toolbar, enter text and numeric data, format cells, apply borders and shading, editing spreadsheets, printing worksheets and workbooks, formula fundamentals, and an introduction to functions.

Learn how to create a digital notebook using Microsoft OneNote to gather all your notes, pictures, audio and video recordings, and other information into one location. In this course you will learn to create, edit, organize, and enhance notes and also integrate them with other applications.
Outlook

This workshop explores how Microsoft Outlook can be applied in a professional setting. Several projects throughout the day help you to understand Outlook. Topics include: scheduling appointments, making task lists, Rules Wizard setup, sending e-mail, and setting up a contact list. This workshop helps users continue their exploration of Microsoft Outlook.
